Colombia La Argelia
About this coffee
High in the mountains of Planadas, Tolima, in the village of Los Mangos, lies La Argelia, a farm rooted in family tradition. Named in honor of Bladismir Molano Quesada’s grandparents and their coffee legacy, the farm stands as a testament to generations of dedication to the land. For 15 years, Bladismir has worked in coffee, and for the past seven, he has focused on specialty production. What began as a family tradition has become a personal challenge: to improve quality every single day. At La Argelia, 90% of the crop is the Colombia variety, complemented by small lots of Papayo. The coffee is processed using a traditional washed method, then carefully dried for around ten days in marquesinas. Surrounded by native trees, guamos, cambulos, and fruit trees, the farm thrives in a unique geography overlooking the Ata canyon, where climate and landscape shape the character of each harvest.
